SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea said Tuesday it would use nuclear weapons in a “merciless offensive” if provoked — its latest bellicose rhetoric apparently aimed at deterring any international punishment for its recent atomic test blast.
Pyongyang raised tensions a notch by reviving its rhetoric in a commentary in the state-run Minju Joson newspaper Tuesday.
“Our nuclear deterrent will be a strong defensive means … as well as a merciless offensive means to deal a just retaliatory strike to those who touch the country’s dignity and sovereignty even a bit,” said the commentary, carried by the official Korean Central News Agency.

Headline should read “N.Korea warns it will commit suicide if provoked”.
BTDT; Unfortunately their method of committing suicide would be similar to the suicide bombers in Iraq & Afghanistan only on a much much larger scale. Think of deaths in the millions in S Korea & Japan plus the deaths of many innocent N Koreans who are being dragged along for the ride by their dear leader. If the world and the UN had done something about this back in the 1950′s, the North could be a prosperous nation today. But Russia and China prevented change and now a nuclear armed N Korea will likely cause them much damage either directly or indirectly. There is no easy solution here. With the world having “shrunk” so dramatically this crisis will affect everyone.

Ain’t it lovely. A nut case in North Korea and another in Iran. The one in Korea is on his death bed and could give a $#!t, the Iranian nut case want to cause the gutters to run red with blood and have the world in chaos so that the Hidden Imam that jumped into a well 800 years ago can return in company with Christ to set up a Grand Paradise. His job is to create the chaos.
Such a lovely bunch of coconuts, tra-la-la
