Palin Spars With Critics Over Ethics Complaints
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says her political enemies are abusing state law with a flurry of frivolous ethics complaints against her, putting her more than $500,000 in legal debt.
Those filing the grievances — there have been at least 18 cases so far — say it’s their legal right to hold the Republican governor accountable for what they see as abuses of power.
The truth is probably somewhere in between.
“Are Alaskans outraged, or at least tired of this yet — another frivolous ethics charge by a political blogger?” Palin asked in one statement.
Most of the complaints have been filed since last August, when Republican presidential candidate John McCain picked Palin as his running mate. And most have been denied.
Palin’s office has called the multiple dismissals “mounting evidence that accusations of wrongdoing by the governor lack merit and have been politically or personally motivated.”
Even some of Palin’s critics question the validity of some of the complaints, and her supporters have waged a weeklong Webathon to raise money for a legal defense fund set up for the governor, ringing up more than $109,000 by day seven, Sunday.

Although they didn’t have any idea who their ‘messenger’ was going to be at the outset, the left has been meticiously planning for decades what is today seen by democractic loving Americans as the disasterous ’Obamanization’ of America. They fearfully and rightfuly view Sarah Palin as a stout an oak stick that could be stuck through their spokes in 2012. They are mortified. Neither truth or ethics will dissuade them from striving to destroy her character beyond repair before 2012. The MSM are behind them all the way.

She wore a jacket her husband handed to her because it was cold outside and it had a logo on it – the person who filed that complaint should have to pay full court costs.
That state trooper should be in jail, he tasered his ten year old stepson, drove the police car while drinking beer, etc.
The abuse of this ‘ethics’ complaint process only proves how nasty ‘progressive’ people are.

This woman should just fade away into the Alaskan forest. If this is the best woman the Republicans can come up with they are in deeper trouble than appears. She was a setup from the start. They knew there was no way they could win the last election. You seldom get a second chance to run. More qualified and able people just would not step up. Ask Kim Cambell, she knows what it’s all about. They run her again and Obama is in for an additional 4 years.

That tells me they are more worried about her electoral chances than they are letting on, and that’s why all these frivolous accusations are flying about. Anything and everything to shut her up and make her fade away.
This woman is no pushover. And she has millions of supporters. Be afraid, Dems, be very afraid.
