Joanne: Too big to fail?

David Miller’s problems are closing in on several fronts. The garbage strike and the street car fiasco are only the two latest crises to plague the Toronto mayor who seems to think that he and his city are “special”. Dalton McGuinty is certainly one of the enablers of this egocentric behaviour.
Just as wise parents realize that they do their child no favour by encouraging irresponsibility, the higher levels of government need to stand firm against Miller’s whining. At least the Federal Government knows that tough love is the only answer.

Male, retired and the rest is of little interest to anyone. The site keeps me busy and if it helps others to stay abreast of daily events then my time is well spent.

Hopefully, the people of Toronto will take a close look at what Miller has delivered and realize this is what the NDP and socialism is all about: they’re not happy until you’re not happy.
I’m really glad Lizzie May’s ego isn’t getting ahead of her ability to deliver. How many elections has she contested so far? How many seats has she won? Has the party under her guidance won?
The sad part is the Greens were once working towards relevance. Elizabeth May undid all of that and has set them back forever.
