If Dalton did talk a long walk in the snow (or off a short pier), there isn't exactly a line-up of qualified candidates waiting with bated breath. Most of his cabinet are "yes men" and wouldn't have what it takes to lead the party, let alone the province.  Do you know of  someone McGuinty is grooming? Bold prediction, Jack. Although the fight was occasionally bitter, all four candidates brought decent credentials to the table.
