Palin 1, Pundits 0 (1)

Posted by Jack On July - 10 - 2009

palin1_thumb1Everyone — especially those in the political pundit class seems to be calling Sarah Palin a loser, a quitter, a committer of political suicide by leaving office mid-term.

They are all very wrong.

What’s being missed is that the usual political calculations simply do not apply to Sarah Palin, one of the most unusual public figures to come along in years.

With this decision and this announcement, Sarah Palin has been absolutely true to herself. Long-term, this will translate to a success that will leave most political pundits in the dust.

Why?

The pundit class is basing their analysis on calculations of the past (i.e., people who got elected president didn’t quit as governor) and on the assumption that Sarah Palin made a political calculation in resigning.

They are simply not seeing either Sarah Palin for who she is, or what truly matters to the millions who support her, and they can’t compute that there were no political calculations involved.

Her decision was one with her brand for two main reasons:

Notes:

“What the hell?”  Where did she come from?

“Alaskaaaa!”

As media pundits go into full ballistic mode one might ask the very same question about ‘Obama the slamma’.  He who is the second person to walk on water on this earth.

Where the hell did he come from?

It has never been explained other than to tell the world he hails from Chicago (and that says it all).

More to the point, now that he holds the world in his hands ’What is he going to do with the power?’   Power given to him by Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank  (I know a man that looks just like him and is just as stupid).  Well known pundits are so off base here they remind me of the Michael Jackson fiasco and that is a sad state of affairs.

I think that Fox News is right on the money here and Democrats who continue to support the “annointed one” are going to find themselves in a world of hurt very shortly.  You can take that to the bank because unlike Sarah he has no executive experience at all and reminds me of Pinochio as he continues to blather.  Sarah (to me) represents everything that the US and Canada built upon as we grew (and build we did).  On the other hand Obama represents the “wet dream” of Karl Marx and crowd who see a third way to conquer the world.

It’s not going to happen and every day that passes makes my intial prediction about him more true.  I was wrong about the timeframe — I called it six months — it may take a bit longer — but I will say this.  The average American voter can read and what they are getting right now is alarming them greatly.

Good for them because they haven’t seen anything yet.

Sarah is on the warpath and I support her in every way that I can because she’s right and the pundits are all wrong.  I feel she’s going to start on them very soon and like the wolf  I am,  I’m licking my chops in anticipation.  There is no way on earth that the MSM will be able to silence her and the crowds are going to be in the hundreds of thousands at every event she chooses to speak at.

You can take that to the bank also.

Finally ( I have a big mouth),  Obama is in a world of hurt although he does not realize it yet and in case some “no mind” out there brings up color as an argument.

Don’t go there.

Obama would be in trouble no matter if he was pink with purple polka dots.  The truth is he has no idea where he is going and the people that advise him have even less clues.

The media call these advisors the “political class” in the US.  Good luck with that one.  The new political class in the US and Canada is “Joe the plumberthanks to the net and all those “busy bodies” out there should look to their defences.  They could soon join the unemployment line.

Frankly, I welcome that idea.

A good explanation of why Sarah Palin strikes fear into the hearts of the establishment, they’re not used to people saying what they mean and prefer guys like Teleprompter Jesus since he’s been groomed by them.

The radical leftists have only recently grasped the final big lever of power and it took a herculean effort over years through media and entertainment.  They are terrified of the prospect that an honest person may snatch it all away from them.

And they know Sarah Palin’s record – she doesn’t suffer fools gladly.

More bizzare Canadian fascination with American Politicians.  Probably why the Canadian federal lieberals picked one for their leader.
