Canada's open gates (1)

mcparland2The most unfortunate element of Jason Kenney’s imposition of visa requirements on visitors from Mexico and the Czech Republic is the likelihood that the more desirable solution to the problem — a root and branch repair of Canada’s abuse-prone refugee system — may be unattainable.

The Immigration Minister has indicated he is already working on a proposal to reform the refugee-claims system. There is little dispute that it is needed. Canada has one of the most popular and easily-abused refugee operations in the world, with a burgeoning backlog of phony claims that only impedes those who deserve honest consideration. But given the level of hysteria that typifies our barely functional minority government, and the wailing that goes up whenever adjustments — no matter how necessary — are proposed to immigration laws, and you have to conclude that the odds against Mr. Kenney are daunting.

The noise surrounding the new visa requirements is a prime example of the problem. Though lumped together, the two cases are very different:

“Unfortunately, Canada’s partisan Parliament can’t in any way be counted on to give them a serious shot at survival.”

So true.  The employers have permitted the employees to forget who the boss is.

Where is the shame of the EU that they have refugees wanting to get into Canada?

The Gypsies are a Euroweenie problem that they have not dealt with because unlike North America, they do not know how to integrate their immigrants … this problem is centuries old. It is now made worse because within the EU’s open borders they can herd the Gypsies all over the place and each EU country then “beggars thy neighbour” .. France and Italy have pushed them north. The Gypsies have now found their way all the way to Dublin , I saw them recently in their trailers on a public highway round-about ..essentially squatting. It is a horrible European problem.

Instead of fiddling around with visas Canada should simply make it clear we do not take refuges from Europe. But the reality is, that isn’t going to happen in a minority government with Bob Rae condemning Jason Kenney for doing what the Liberals did while in power. As Kelly says: “But given the level of hysteria that typifies our barely functional minority government … the odds against Kenney are daunting.”  True …unless Canadians speak up in this.

We had a couple of rare occassions to have to deal with groups of eastern Europeon gypsies as they travelled through Manitoba to who knows where.  Without exception they were found to be organized, intelligent and willing ready and able to steal, defraud and embezzel their way through a law abiding society like s$$t through a goose.  They travel in packs, have a leaders, scouts, lookouts, ‘bagmen’  and can lie with the very best of them.  There is nothing they won’t try or do in order to rip unsuspecting trusting people of their hard earned money and property.  They’ll look you straight in the eye and lie like their faces off.   They confess to nothing, ever.  They descend on cities, towns and villages like a swarm of locusts.  Before law enforcement is even aware they have arrived they have victims scattered like leaves in their wake.  Often they are in, done their damage and moved on before police receive their first complaint leaving investigators chasing ‘ghosts’ who falsely identified themselves to their victims and are thus rarely if ever positively identified.  No victim is spared once they set their sights on them.  The women and children are as practised as the men and are full participants.   Some may claim that what I have just said is racist, rumor or innuendo.  Every single word is based on first hand personal experience.   The Gypsies I had contact with were professional criminals in every sense of the word and totally devoid of sympathy for their victims.   They displayed not a iota of fear of law enforcement and seemed  to be incedibly well rehearsed as to what to say to police under questioning.  They carry and produce false identification like we carry grocery lists.   Generally speaking Canadians are a trusting law abiding society.  Unfortunately we are exactly the type of victims they are looking for.   We are the sheep they are the wolves.
