Liberal Bloggers Crash and Burn (2)
By now you have probably seen the wave of Sarah Palin rumors in the dinosaur media and the liberal blogs’ focus on the story that Sarah Palin and husband Todd are headed for divorce because of extramarital affairs by both. As you may imagine, the rumor was like a dream come true for many lefty bloggers.
PJM’s own Rick Moran looks at this issue at American Thinker and raises a great point:
Several Alaska bloggers hounded the former Alaskan governor with bogus ethics complaints while she was in office — Alaska Report being one of them. Could a little payback be at play here?
I don’t doubt there are serious motivations for such tactics, but I suspect it runs a bit deeper than payback. Moran openly admits he’s being highly speculative. In that same spirit, here are a few thoughts and ideas.

Male, retired and the rest is of little interest to anyone. The site keeps me busy and if it helps others to stay abreast of daily events then my time is well spent.

Because Todd and Sarah live the life they do I find the rumors of a marriage breakup false. I also find that the left (the idiots that start these rumors) are insane.
That is not an idle thought. The most violent people in our society are “left” and they hesitate at nothing to have their way.
First it was Sarah…then came her kids.
Now it is her marriage.
No harm is to great as far as she is concerned and I am starting to get really pissed off.
But — two can play this game and since “lefties” have raised the topic I’m going hunting. There’s no telling where this will end.
Who knows how many “others” Michelle and Barack have shagged along the way.
Maybe their marriage is on the ropes also?
I don’t know but what is fair for one side is fair for the other. So let’s check this out.

… but here is what she missed. Todd has looked at Sarah and he would have to have rocks in his head to betray this woman. I wouldn’t and I believe that he hasn’t.
And I am appalled that anyone would even suggest it. They must be nuts but then again we all know that the “left” is so what’s new?

Halle Berry’s man cheated on her. So did Angelina Jolie’s previous flame. Monica Lewinsky certainly didn’t look better than Hillary. Looks have little to do with whether a man or woman cheats. It usually is lack of physical fulfillment (men) or emotional fulfillment (women)

Me too, what? I got that from a friend who studies sexual pyschology.
The powerful may reproduce, but there are more than a few bums who are quite apt at spreading their seed. The end result tend to be involved in the shootings downtown, for one.

Ne ither my friend nor I commented on these rumors – the conversations being referenced took place 4 years ago. I don’t really care whether Todd Palin cheated on Sarah, though given her dogged career focus and his apparent lout-ishness I’d say it’s not impossible. Her cult is so dedicated that she should be discovered eating babies alive and it wouldn’t make a difference to them, so the Lib Bloggers are wasting their time.
