As a young girl, Rachael Savory dreamed of a beautiful white wedding and walking down the aisle to marry the man she loved.
But after falling pregnant a staggering ten times in just 12 years, having babies just kept getting in the way of organising her big day.
However, the 35-year-old’s dream finally came true this summer when she tied the knot with long-term partner, Jay Wong, 15 years after they first met.
And with their six daughters and four sons, dressed as bridesmaids and page boys, leading their mother down the aisle, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as the couple became man and wife.
Last night the new Mrs Wong said: ‘It was a really emotional day and everyone was in tears when the kids walked in.
‘We put them in pairs – the eldest with the youngest and so on and they walked in front of me holding hands.
‘It was the most perfect day. I feel complete now – like a proper family.’

Congratulations to the happy couple and of course their family. Being married doesn’t change their love or commitment but is an affirmation to their children and extended families of declaring to the world at large that our lives are not complete without each other. What a great story and I wish them the best!
“Falling pregnant.” Isn’t that a dilly of a euphemism? Pretty soon there won’t be any societal standards left.
Better late than never?
