Right on Jack! I totally agree with your Canadian point of view. Thankyou for this newswatch and your common sense values.
I am also Thankful that Stephen Harper and our hard working government hang in there and are working to keep Canada strong and free.I really don’t believe that Iggy or Bob Rae have ever put in a full day of work in their lives.I am also unsure as to the real leader of the Liberal Party because it looks like Rae is calling the shots now.

If you are referring to Harper I beg to disagree.

Years ago the media trumpeted “Liberal Juggernaut” as they hooted and hollered about Paul Martin (he had just stabbed Chretien and his buddies in the back and forced a resignation).

So much for that.

What you are witnessing now is a real juggernaut and if Iggy makes the mistake of calling this government based on recent polls he’s gone. He is not liked, he has no platform and “trust me” goes only so far. The Liberals robbed us — remember?

On the other hand, if Harper wins a majority this country is going to change and people are truly going to like it. You can take it to the bank.

The one thing that Stephen Harper is not is a liar. What you see is what you get. He intends to correct Trudeau’s mistakes and he’s long overdue. He’s asking Canada for the chance to make real change and I support him.

I want him to have that option because I trust him. I do not trust “Iggy” and the fools who promote him.

Point: The Liberals are going through a leadership crisis and it was “one, two, three” in their last gabfest. Harper should be good for another four years as the Liberals work through the same problems the conservatives know about — ten years in the wilderness.

Until they can attract someone like Frank McKenna they don’t have a hope in hell and considering who is now running their party they are in deep trouble. Self serving polls don’t count.

Here’s another thought. There is only one city standing in his way and we all know which one it is. My thought is that we should start to consider reducing the number of MP’s we have in a given area and we do that by changing the electoral areas.

Toronto gets one vote just like Whitehorse (and eyes pop out everywhere). I think Harper can do that without introducing a new bill. Maybe I’m wrong but Chretien screwed with the same idea — why not Harper?

I agree with both comments — if the Conservatives were serious about Immigration reform, they would have brought in legislation or promised to do so long before now. But that would mean possibly losing votes from immigrant communities and you can bet your bottom dollar Stephen “Tricky Dick” Harper won’t do that.

Oh for the love of…….‘we’re sorry’ some foreign criminal parasite came to Canada, broke our laws, murdered, sold drugs or raped our children and we’re sorry? Just what may I ask has Canada got to be sorry about!!!!!! Literally millions of people from all over the world would give practically anything to have been offered what Canada offered this piece of sh*t got and he blew it. The ‘we’re sorry attitude’ pretty well explains the whole Canadian mindset as it pertains to those occupying our refugee and immigration systems. Wringing hands, apologies, politically correct language, guilt trips because some low life criminal has to be given his walking papers. Solution…permit years and years and multi levels of appeal. A tinge of Canadian guilt still hanging about…..solution, a Canadian taxpayer paid lawyer to fight all those years against the enforcement of our own laws. Everybody feel a little better now, a little more Canadian. Minister Kenney, please explain to me just what we have to feel sorry for?
