Stoney Brook, N.Y. (CBS) — They’re upset over an ultimatum from the health department.
Workers are being told to either get the swine flu vaccine or lose their jobs.
New York is the first state in the country to mandate flu vaccinations for its health care workers. The first doses of swine flu vaccine will be available beginning next week. Much of it is reserved for state health care workers, but there is growing opposition to required innoculations.
Health care workers in Hauppauge screamed “No forced shots!” as they rallied Tuesday against the state regulation requiring them to roll up their sleeves.
“I don’t even tend to the sick. I am in the nutrition field. They are telling me I must get the shot because I work in a health clinic setting,” said Paula Small, a Women, Infants and Children health care worker.
Small said she will refuse, worried the vaccine is untested and unproven, leaving her vulnerable. In 1976, there were some deaths associated with a swine flu vaccination.

These reports serve as the main eye opener as to the erosion of our basic human rights. Good for the health care workers of NY state leading the charge. People should pay particular attention to the thalidemide drug reference and the tragedy that caused.
As of now, it should be each man, woman, child/family for themselves. For months prior to the issuance of the swine flu vaccination (not H1N1), responsible reports referenced it as a ‘defective vaccine.’ The mandate should be ignored by democratic peoples KNOWING THEIR RIGHTS OVER THEIR OWN BODIES and those of their families.
Makes me appreciate a bonefide physician who regularly said to the effect, I’m a firm believer in soap and water. Just say no to the drugs, particularly this money-making scam. Also, the injestion of pork right now should be avoided.
OT - After months of questioning my cable provider (Rogers) I’m finally hooked up to Fox News Network. I viewed the Red Eye report last night and a surgeon there was touting the vaccine as safe, so beware of the mixed message from all quarters.
Tonight Henry Kissinger will be interviewed by Greta Van Susteran at 10 p.m. as to the severity of the Iranian nuclear threat. We can view Kissinger as the main man behind Obama and the power brokers.

No need to stay away from pork. Just make sure it’s cooked. Many of the Docs here in Edmonton where I work are staying away from the Vaccine as well.
Good report, BrianC. The docs must know about eating raw onion and garlic, lots of lemon lime water, too. The power of the internet to effect personal change when everybody shares local happenings!
But, I’ve adopted Kosher eating habits now these dozen or more years. I’ll add without hesitation I believe the virus is airborne along with it being in the flesh based on an MSM report some months ago whereby a food inspector caught it on a tour. Pig farmers should be getting out of the industry altogether and they’ve been offered that option by gov’t according to another report.
