Obama to Hold Jobs Summit in December
President Obama took time Thursday — before jetting off to Asia for a 10-day tour — to announce a December jobs summit aimed at synching job growth with the massive government spending meant to “break the back” of the recession.
The announcement came as the Labor Department reported another 502,000 new jobless claims, two high-tech mainstays announced big layoffs and the unemployment rate reached 10.2 percent.
Obama said the White House forum will gather CEOs, small business owners, economists, financial experts and representatives from labor unions and nonprofit groups “to talk about how we can work together to create jobs and get this economy moving again.”
“We all know that there are limits to what government can and should do, even during such difficult times. But we have an obligation to consider every additional, responsible step that we can take to encourage and accelerate job creation in this country,” he said.

Oh dear, millions of new jobs (green included) are not happening for the POTUS. Now he wants to have a job fair for the unemployed. What about all those jobs that are being shipped overseas with the threat of carbon and health care taxes? Doctors and health care professionals will vote with their feet because they have the credentials to “shop” their skills overseas. Wonder how many American coal miners will be applying for work in the mines of China - I understand they are always looking. What about those “evil” insurance and banker types, will they be picking garbage in US landfills to make ends meet? Opportunity knocks for the adventurous. Perhaps the military – oh dear that is also a no go, as Obama is going to downsize the “military machine”. He is looking for advice, there are no new hirers at ACORN (Congress cut off funding). Its more like, someone please save me from myself and my job killing policies. Its a mess! Cheers.

To be clear. It’s not Obama causing this “mess”. It’s all his advisors.
Why do I say that?
Because he’s inexperienced…”doesn’t know shit from shinola”. He talks a lot but so far hasn’t said or done a damned thing worth noting unless of course you consider that he is giving Pelosi and Reid free rein to bankrupt the country.
“Oh” — he appears on CNN a lot. Maybe that counts for something.

Unfortunately his “lack of experience” and “soaring rhetoric” have landed the Americans and by extension, Canada in a mess. Academics who never met a government subsidized payroll they couldn’t expand and inflate are not the best stewards of an economy. The US gave him and his advisors an opportunity – so far, its amounted to a big fat “zero”. But what the hey, that’s me being optimistic, at least I didn’t give him a “minus” rating. Cheers.

Probably the best job creation stimulus Obama could give is to resign and take his czars and advisers with him. Of course it would help if the corrupt congressmen and senators would also walk the plank.

And today he’s on tv from Japan! Does this guy have a teleprompter and tv crew taped to his butt or what? This is beyond ridiculous. All Obama has done since he took office is endlessly give speeches (which is all he is good at). There’s a new bumper sticker out in the USA…..’One Big Ass Mistake America’.

Re: #8 — “Does this guy have a teleprompter and tv crew taped to his butt or what?”
Apparently.
This guy is on TV so often that he is being destroyed by repetition. It’s like watching the reruns of “Mash”…so many of them that people flip the channel because they’ve seen this show before.
Frankly, Obama is not news anymore. He’s tedious (sorta like Canadian Liberals).
