If you’re wondering how the robot-like march of the world’s politicians towards Copenhagen can possibly continue in the face of the scientific scandal dubbed “climategate,” it’s because Big Government, Big Business and Big Green don’t give a s*** about “the science.”
They never have.
What “climategate” suggests is many of the world’s leading climate scientists didn’t either. Apparently they stifled their own doubts about recent global cooling not explained by their computer models, manipulated data, plotted ways to avoid releasing it under freedom of information laws and attacked fellow scientists and scientific journals for publishing even peer-reviewed literature of which they did not approve.
Now they and their media shills — who sneered that all who questioned their phony “consensus” were despicable “deniers,” the moral equivalent of those who deny the Holocaust — are the ones in denial about the enormity of the scandal enveloping them.
So they desperately try to portray it as the routine “messy” business of science, lamely insisting, “nothing to see here folks, move along.”
Before the Internet — which has given ordinary people a way to fight back against the received wisdom of so-called “wise elites” — they might have gotten away with it.
But not now, as knowledgeable climate bloggers are advancing the story and forcing the co-opted mainstream media to cover a scandal most would rather ignore.
The problem, however, is those who hijacked science to predict a looming Armageddon unless we do exactly as they say, have already done their damage.

No, they’re not done. Yet. The MSM is doing its level best to bury ClimateGate; however, the Internet WILL keep the story alive. As time goes on, those people who rely on both sources of media for their information will wonder about the disconnect. And talk about it.
It’s easier to get people to distrust than to trust.
All that’s needed next is some hard evidence of Enron-like profiteering or gerrymandering from existing Carbon Trading markets or hucksters like Al Gore. Al himself has become something of a joke, unfortunately. It doesn’t seem to register on people that Al’s lifestyle excesses are coming directly from their pockets. Again, time will tell.
Once the populace comes to the conclusion that there’s an active cover-up going on and that they’ve been fleeced (we’re not near that point, yet), then the wheels will finally come off the Global Warming bandwagon.
All that is required is for one world leader to say that the whole GW concept is false and the GW scientists have proven such with their own words, and that that country will not follow any agreement to destroy their econmy based on false data and outright lies. Then the whole will collapse like the ponzi scheme that it is. Who that leader is I do not know but he/she will have to have their country’s best interest at heart and not be in it for power or greed.
Lorrie says “This was never about saving the planet. This is about money and power. Your money. Their power.”
Exactly. Some of us made the mistake that the fall of the Berlin Wall was the end of central planning ideology and that we had seen “The End of History…” …blah blah blah.
But there will always be elitists, World Government advocates, trying to reframe that ideology to take our hard earned money away from us and redistribute it to those who are willing to subject themselves to feudal central planning as long as “they” get in behind the castle walls with the King, the Messiah, the “One” …whatever.
So this rent seeking ideology simply mutates in new ways to fool us over and over. The Liberals would have tried it with national day care, which was a scheme to permit Ottawa to centralize more power and control through entitlements for those behind the castle walls. Entitlements like that are nearly impossible to ever unwind. ObamaCare plus cap and trade are 2 more methods to steal middle class earnings and centralize power and control.
Unless we insist on doing more for ourselves, not buying into the idea that monopoly services provided by government and delivered by government unions; until that central planning ideology becomes more quickly identified in its various mutations, then we will continue to see more Climategates.
Lorrie says “Readers often ask how they can fight back. First, forget about asking when the warmists will see reason. They won’t.” Therefore, how to fight back is to insist on doing more for ourselves and recognizing that the rent seekers are trying to return us to feudalism. Don’t fall for Obama and his handlers who will try to trick us into new mutations to empower their elitist goals.
Now if only there were a few Winston Churchill or Ronald Reagan types around to lead us out of this unholy attempt by the left to enrich itself, impoverish the rest, take over our lives and destroy our children’s futures. I wonder how many Canadians will find the energy to actually get off their lazy duffs and contact their MP or the PM? Bitching in Tim Horton’s is no alternative. Being too busy is no excuse. I wonder if PMSH has the leadership qualities and courage necessary to tell the rest of the world to ‘stuff it’? Only time will tell. One credible western leader doing so just might turn out to be the lead bull for a stampede.
One way to fight this is to join the underground economy.
Since the Conservatives apparently believe in private property rights, at least according to the party Constitution, he could reasonably argue that any agreement involving transfer of wealth would violate their Constitution and furthermore it would be a betrayal of Canadians since they voted for a party the apparently believes in individual rights and freedoms and private property rights.
The fact of the matter is, the government has no wealth, that wealth belongs to individual Canadians, not the government, hence the government has no authority to transfer what it doesn’t own.
I made the mistake of watching Globalnational last nite and am again reminded that watching anything canadian as far as news is concerned is a massive waste of time.
It seems that some fool in toronto is hanging throw away cameras up for unnamed idiots to take pictures of whatever, and he collects the ‘pics’ and call them art.
Another item was a bunch of real estate agents fighting over a limited number of condos, again in TO.
Probably the most stirring part was the kid missing somewhere on the subway in NY for a number of days, and the ensuing discussion over whether or not New Yorkers saw the kid and just ignored him. The underlying suggestion being that the NY dwellers are a bunch of creeps that don’t want to get involved and this same thing could not have happened up here north of the border.
Not a word about the greatest fraud in recent AND not so recent history – that being the release of the documents regarding AGW. This is going to impact everyone cost of living, lifestyles and everything else in our day-to-day lives.
It is finally apparent how deceived we are by the people who are paid good money to inform us. And they want government protection in the form of subsidies to ‘save local television’.
Give me a break. On second thought – no. Don’t. Kevin, I won’t be watching, but rather will be researching on my own on the web, where the real information is.
I have written endless emails over the last few days to journos, editors, publishers, ombudsmans, my MP and the PM
Goldstein responded as did gunter.
Nothing back from my MP. Called his office 4 days ago. They said they knew nothing of the climate fraud issue, so I sent them numerous info and links. No response.
Called again today and got Stonewalled. Called the Ottawa office. Stonewalled.
My MP (Russ Hiebert) will be back in the constituency on Friday Nov. 27 making and announcement at 10 am at

Langley bypass.
I plan to be there to ask him why the Conservative Party of Canada is ignoring the smoking gun evidence of a planned assault on our national sovereignty.
ward.
Good initiative. Let us know how it turns out.
The fact that this is failing to excite anyone who was not already opposed to any kind of climate regulation should tell you that this is not as big of a deal as you are making it out to be. I barely see anything on the non-partisan boards about this. Simmer down, crusaders – bad science happens. All that matters is that it was found out before huge mistakes were made. No one is going to help you end environmentalism on the strength of this scandal.
Bad Science happens?? Tell that to the millions, yeah MILLIONS of Africans that died as a result of Not using DDT for mosquito control? Tell that to the many thousands of Thalidomide victims and their families.
This is not even bad science, this is NO SCIENCE, pure and simple! This is lying for the purpose of extorting huge amounts of money from an unsuspecting public. This is stealing - on a colossal scale. This is about destroying whats left of the continent of Africa for the purposes of planting trees to assuage the consciences of people who know nothing about the impact of their actions except for what they are told by the MSM. All of it LIES.
Yeah, Africa is going to pay the price again by being the source of your,-Cy, your carbon sinks. The cost of living of everyone on every continent will be impacted and some are going to pay wayyyyyyy more than you and your ilk, Cy.
Bad Science? Get a life.
It’s not just bad science — it’s organized theft on a grand scale. Watched QP today and AGAIN no questions about this.
It’s time to wake up the troops. Here’s Stephen Harper’s e-mail link:
HarpeS@parl.gc.ca
Have fun all.
It’s not about bad science, it’s about using bad science to justify looting taxpayers. In my book, that’s corruption.
Agreed.
Quick Note: I suppose people are wondering why I’m “so onto” this situation. It is because a bunch of fruitcakes want to steal my wallet for their own purposes and that’s the end game isn’t it?
I’m going to stop here because people can only absorb so much info in a day. Suffice to say that I am going to do my very best to protect my money — more later.
Point: People should note in the video that reputable scientists are rapidly switching sides.
Who would have guessed?
I thought they were all “kissy face, pressy belly” with Al Gore and David Suzuki — guess not.
They have a mutiny on their hands just in time for Copenhagen. It should be very interesting.
Yeah, Africa is going to pay the price again by being the source of your,-Cy, your carbon sinks. The cost of living of everyone on every continent will be impacted and some are going to pay wayyyyyyy more than you and your ilk, Cy.
Interesting how I’ve suddenly become the scarecrow AGW person, despite posting more scientific refutations of the theory than most of you. Partisans need enemies more than they need friends – without a lingering threat, how can an extreme opinion be justified? And leave Africa out of this – you care not a damn for it.
Even more interesting is how one of the very few in-depth accounts on the mechanics of AGW profiteering was on a CBC documentary. CBC – aren’t they the lefties? How come all you guys could come up with is a slight variation on “gubmint stay away from mah money”? That’s what’s being attacked here.
And manipulated science is bad science. Similar attacks were made with IQ tests on “my ilk”. No plans on changing my stance on that. Create your own conspiracy theories.
“Cy” — it’s your wallet too. Think about it and get back onside.
Another thought. Mankind began it’s long journey in Africa millions of years ago (if you believe “scientists”). So “how come” the continent remains a basket case while Canada has got it together in less than 300 years?
My view — “Charity begins at home” and before we set about fixing the world perhaps we should take a hard look at our own situation.
Cy, I really don’t know what you are talking about. This isn’t a partisan issue.
I’m not really sure what you’re criticizing here. Are you suggesting that we’re a bunch of rednecks because we choose to protect our private property? If you don’t believe in the concept of private property, wouldn’t it be more courteous to just say so rather than resorting to condescending remarks?
Jack: Just sent the P.M. this e-mail below.
Prime Minister Steven Harper;
Dear Prime Minister, I wonder why ” Climategate ” is being largely ignored by most of the media ? One would think that at the very least the controversy would be worth reporting even if most of the media, I think, would try to minimize the importance of this story ! The fact that it’s being ignored has shaken even further my faith about the impartiality of the news reporting in this country.
As far as I know nothing of this has been raised by the Opposition in Question Period and this is understandable as their support of the Global Warming ” theory ” makes raising questions about the validity of the science something they would rather avoid as they have too much invested in credibility should this story have depth by being true.
If true it represents a massive diversion of funds and a conspiracy possibly of a criminal nature, as grants to researchers who falsify results that would lead to billions in spending, is not a trivial matter !
I think that before committing to billions of dollars into carbon markets or carbon capture project the Government should have an impartial commission into the validity of the science and to verify if the supposed consensus on Global Warming is based on real science or if it is based on a theory and computer models where ” selective ” data has been used to prove the theory by fitting the facts to the theory rather than fitting the theory to the facts.
The U.N. Pier Review process, if tainted by fraud or if there was suppressing of contrary opinion, is now suspect at the very least !
The Environment is important and the problems or real pollution by toxic chemicals, energy conservation being also a valid concern, aside from any Global Warming speculation, should continue being a priority, but it should be one based on the best science available and not on biased or fraudulent information.
Here is a link to one of the few journalists who have mentioned this in the general media:
http://www.ottawasun.com/comment/columnists/lorrie_goldstein/2009/11/26/11929441-sun.html
Thank you for your time in considering the above.
Sincerely yours.
Jean ***********
Jack, it’s been said many times by myself and others that pollution is a far greater problem than global warming, as:
1) It has been well proven to be harmful to humans
2) It is very easy to detect and measure
3) It is very controllable by society
Global warming has not proven to be any of those things, and in fact Europe prospered during the last major warming period. None of this I’m saying for the first time.
As for the African basket case issue … well the environment has always had a lot to do with Africa’s problems but ironically it HAS been due to too much global warming in the form of drought (murderously bad for feeding crops, livestock, etc). That was not due to carbon emissions, however. I don’t see how Africa has much to do with this. Just sounds like a “fluffy bunny” to hold up and make the other side look like brutes. The left excels at this so fair play I suppose.
Good start, Jean. Now we need many thousands more all generated individually.
Yeah, just copy/pasting someone else’s thoughts are counter productive although copying the same themes without plagiarizing them is O.K. but original thoughts are better.
Staying polite is important as well as rational arguments rather than getting all hot and bothered.
Oh, expecting more than just a standard reply is setting oneself up for disappointment as it’s doubtful that the P.M. reads any of these but enough messages do get some attention and if by some miracle a good idea is picked up by the Waroom or strategic guys or the P.M. himself it’s a bonus !
With the volume of e-mails or snail mail the P.M. gets a personal response is not something one should hope for realistically ! Drip drip drip each person adds to the pressure to take it seriously and eventually that last drip makes the policy bucket overflow into some action LOL.
This isn’t a “conspiracy”. It’s a belief. It’s a religion.
Religion is fine, we need to encourage tolerance of religions… provided those religions don’t try to be the same thing as the state.
But the climate religion and the state were trying to join hands. That’s what made this religion dangerous.
Agree that this climate religion has nothing to do with environmentalism. There is no debate about our all wanting a cleaner environment. The best way to ensure that is to have a healthy economy. The worst thing to do for the economy and thus hinder the environment would be a wealth redistribution boondoggle for World Government.
Will send an email to the Gubmint as suggested. And I like Jean’s idea of a “Pier Review Process” … as in these faux scientists should be pushed off a pier.
Re: #20 — I’ll let a real scientist come back and answer your reply. My view is very simplistic. Global warming is caused by the sun influenced by the gravitational pull of the planets as they aline. It’s a regular occurrence which happens over many thousands of years. It’s a cycle and as always mankind has adapted to the change.
I mentioned Africa because you brought it up but you can also look at Mongolia or many other parts of the globe and you will see the same thing (don’t forget that continents move about and change their positions — plate tectonics).
Climate change is a natural occurrence and we simply deal with it as we always have. What we are fighting now (witness Gore “et al”) is NOT natural. They want your money so they can change the world to fit their own views and they are trying to scare everyone to death.
I disagree. They are a very sorry lot and most people are not that stupid.
CRB brought up Africa, though he is not the first to paint them as victims of the global warming carbon trade scheme. What doesn’t make sense is how this can jive with the similarly popular complaint that cap and trade is a scam to drain money from the first world into the third world.
The Africa angle is political. Politics should never be used to measure scientific claims (or economics, though we lost that war long ago). Global warming is bad science. Bad science must be dethroned and tossed.
Agreed and sorry if I blamed you. I’ve been awake since 4:00 am. I miss stuff.
How to affect climate change ? I have the solution: Everyone has to hold a penny between their knees and as long as we keep our knees together and keep the penny from falling to the floor the Earth’s temperature will drop …… LOL. Anyway, stupid but as effective as carbon credits and shifting money around without actually reducing CO2 levels, assuming that CO2 is even is the reason for Global Warming or Global Climate Change .
We we are dealing with non-solutions to non-existing problems or problem beyond are capacity to affect change then a ridiculous solution is as good as any and while we are at it I want 5 billion dollars for having come up with ” THE ” solution: Much Cheaper to pay me than the Trillions needed for the other stupid solution ! ( Just having a little sarcastic fun ).
No “ads” permitted here, Jean.
“Heh”….
“…in fact Europe prospered during the last major warming period. None of this I’m saying for the first time.
Micheal Mann and John Holdren have, in emails, attempted to squash the climate data for the MWP (Medieval Warm Period) in presenting their case for AGW. Thye destroyed the careers of tow well known scientists on that issue alone. I’m not going to do your homework for you Cy, dig it out yourself, because that is documented. The issue is about the fraudulent misrepresentation of climate data to effect control of our western economy through climate mitigation policies that will bankrupt us and eventually destroy our economy. Period. That includes people like you who are cloistered in an unrealistic world of fantasy on this subject.
In effect, “you can’t stand the truth”. This is not science, but political science of an most insidious kind. I’m not going to even attempt to explain to you that concept, sport, because you are incapable of understanding what is going on here. Blather on all you want, but you would be the last person I would ever stand beside in a foxhole or baricade in the defence of western society as we know it.
The only way to deal with any form of “climate change” is to adapt and as a scientist I find if very hard to believe that a warming planet is a catastrophe in any way shape or form. An ice age would be catastrphic, but warming – never. As for higher CO2, the geological record shows that CO2 levels of 4000 ppm (350 ppm today) were beneficial to plant growth and the coal beds we mine today were formed under those conditions. CO2 is GOOD FOR THE FRIGGEN PLANTS and food production so that we can boost food production to feed the masses. Got it? So, why would we wish to stop CO2 production, unless it’s to starve about 5 BILLION people so that Al Gore and David Suzuki can live in opulent splender while gazing at the piles of human corpses left after this concept is embarked on. Now have you got it?
Re #15. I admit I haven’t watched this documentary because watching the CBC causes blood to shoot out of my eyes. But from a brief glance it looks like it focuses on money making schemes associated with AGW. What it does not appear to do is attack the manipulation of science and the outright lies of the greenies. So the CBC hosted this documentary what, once? On the other hand they’ve pounded Gore’s ’An Inconvenient Truth’ mercilessly and continuously into our livinrooms since day one. Cripes, I even took a flippin charter flight 2 year’s ago and it was the featured ’inflight movie’. Talk about a captive audience. CBC still features Gore’s propoganda at least once or twice monthly. Yet I have yet to see an independent producer’s documentary refuting Gore’s version of the impending end of mankind. Suggesting the CBC is somehow middle of the road, or not far left because they showed this one particular documentary you refer to (while carefully avoiding the contraversy) is little different than 59 Dems and 1 Republican voting for health care and Obama calling it a bi-partisan vote.
I hate to rain on everyone’s parade (except Cy’s) but my concern is that our PM has changed his mind and is on his way to Copenhagen. I just can’t see him standing up against the Annointed One.
There is always the Jean Chrétien solution of promising everything and delivering little or nothing long enough for the wheels to fall off the climate fraud, assuming that it is a fraud.
I personally believe that it’s a fraud but it still need more proof or at least more time for the proof to filter down to the average Joe who has been bombarded with Global Warming talk for a decade or two …. wait until it starts hurting to apply the carbon taxes and the following election(s) ! People are all for ” virtue ” until they actually have to sacrifice something ! Hard enough sell if the sacrifice is really needed but even harder if skepticism about the need for sacrifice becomes the dominant feeling !
Re: #31 — “I just can’t see him standing up against the Annointed One.”
I can — that’s why he’s going.
Got to admit Don, that possibility has crossed my mind. But he’s stood up before for what he truly believed and basically defied the world. Made us proud he did. I suspect that more than enough countries are uneasy right now about participating in this issue. Milling around like a herd of cattle who are not where they want to be and knowing they are being ‘steered’ somewhere they don’t want to go. Could these countries be waiting and hoping for a leader to step forward and say what they cannot find the courage to say first for themselves? That might be all it would take. If PMSH turns out to be that person in Copenhagen, like I said before he could very well turn out to be the lead bull at the front of the stampede outta this mess.
Hope your right Jack because I’m sure O’bama is going to go long or perhaps even lead the Green parade down the road to fiscal disaster.
Can you imagine how easier this would be if our MSM wasn’t sitting on the story and it also explains why they are sitting on the story !
If Harper is going to go against the Obamamessia he has to go all the way or not at all and be prepared to support his non support with a motion to do a final and honest Peer review of the evidence before committing to billions of dollars of public spending.
The problem is to get a match between the truth and what is perceived as the truth by the majority of citizens, the Koolaid drinkers are beyond being influenced by facts.
Not sure what Harper can do and will he act now or wait, defer for later, delay until the wheels are truly falling off the Global Warming bandwagon assuming it does fall off ?
Don, O’bama is already well down the road to fiscal disaster. If Harper does the right thing in Denmark and calls everyone’s bluff and tells the truth, we will be in a election in Canada before he gets back.
The following are a few quotes from the “Initiative for ECO – 92 Earth Charter which was privately circulated at an ECO meeting.
“The present vast overpopulation, now far beyond the world’s carrying capacity, cannot be answered by future reductions in the birth rate due to contraception, sterilization and abortion, but must be met in the present by the reduction of numbers presently existing. This must be done by whatever means necessary.”
A. “The Security Council of the U.N. led by Anglo Saxon Major Powers, will decree that henceforth the Security Council will inform all nations that it’s suffrance on population has ended, that all nations have quotas for population reduction on a yearly basis, which will be enforced by the Security Council by selective or total embargo of credit, items of trade, including food and medicine, or by military force, when required.”
C. ” The Security Council of the U.N. will take possesion of all natural resources, including the watersheds and great forests, to be used and preserved for the good of the Major Nations of The Security Council.”
D. “The Security Council of the U.N. will explain that not all races and peoples are equal, nor should they be. Those races proven superior by superior achievements ought to rule the lesser races, caring for them on suffrance that they cooperate with The Security Council.”
Canada’s representatives at this gab fest were: Elizabeth May (Sierra Club), Severn Cullis Suzuki ( Suzki’s 2nd wife), Maurice Strong (co-chair). Among others.
Mr Strong has been quoted:
In 1991, Strong wrote the introduction to a book published by the Trilateral Commission, called Beyond Interdependence: The Meshing of the World’s Economy and the Earth’s Ecology, by Jim MacNeil. (David Rockefeller wrote the foreword). Strong said this:
“This interlocking…is the new reality of the century, with profound implications for the shape of our institutions of governance, national and international. By the year 2012, these changes must be fully integrated into our economic and political life.”
He told the opening session of the Rio Conference (Earth Summit II) in 1992, that industrialized countries have:
“developed and benefited from the unsustainable patterns of production and consumption which have produced our present dilemma. It is clear that current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class — involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work-place air-conditioning, and suburban housing — are not sustainable. A shift is necessary toward lifestyles less geared to environmentally damaging consumption patterns.”
http://soldierforliberty.wordpress.com/2009/10/20/maurice-strong-man-behind-agenda-21-part-2/
This statement is interesting: “Trusting environmental “scientists” who depend on government funding and must produce politically useful “information” will lead to economic and social disaster. ”
or this: “Remember, political activists, like self-proclaimed education “change agents”, have put expediency above integrity. As North Carolina school superintendent Jim Causby said at a 1994 international model school conference, “We have actually been given a course in how not to tell the truth. You’ve had that course in public relations where you learn to put the best spin on things.”
or this: “This agenda for the 21st Century was signed by 179 nations at the UN Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. Among other things, it called for a Global Biodiversity Assessment of the state of the planet. Prepared by the UN Environmental Programme (UNEP), this GBA armed UN leaders with the “information” and “science” they needed to validate their global management system. Its doomsday predictions were designed to excuse radical population reduction, oppressive lifestyle regulations, and a coercive return to earth-centered religions as the basis for environmental values and self-sustaining human settlements. The GBA concluded on page 763 that “the root causes of the loss of biodiversity are embedded in the way societies use resources.” The main culprit? Judeo-Christian values.”
Feeling “green” yet?
Perhaps after a wood spike has been pounded into the heart of the utter nonsense that is “Climate Change” we can get back to what really needs to be addressed,ENVIROMENTAL POLLUTION
By the way, some 10-12 MP’s have resigned from the Australian Liberal opposition party today in protest on the passage of the Labour Kevin Rudd, ETS Bill (cap & trade). http://twawki.wordpress.com/ scroll down to the third item.
Gotta love those Aussies, eh? More B*lls than ours!
That’s tomorrow’s news, today! love this internet thingy.
Actually Cynapse, the damage done by the UN to Africa through halting its progress became well known after Paul Driessen and several others testified about it before a U.S. Congressional Subcommittee, on February 4, 2004, in a somewhat successful attempt to prevent the Bush administration from buying into The Great Global Warming Swindle (Driessen also made an appearance in the movie). Since the UN controls much of the first world’s aid to Africa, it has a great deal of influence there, which it has used to foster dependence as a means of promoting socialism on the continent, and through coercion, preventing Africa from developing through a coal and resource powered industrial revolution such as the one that China is currently undergoing.
Driessen wrote a good book outlining how the UN and various groups of green fascists have done all they can to prevent Africa from ever becoming developed.

“The environmental movement I helped found has lost its objectivity, morality and humanity. The pain and suffering it is inflicting on families in developing countries must no longer be tolerated. I still like my solution to emmissions by having every envirowacko holding their breath for 10 minutes every hour.
AGW is not about anything environmental. Period. To be blunt, if you believe it is you are an utter idiot or radical idealogue.
Copenhagen is about installing an unelected NGO ‘government” to gain control over our technological, economic, and political sovereignty. It is spelled out in the treaty, chapter and verse. It is Orwell writ large.
And if anyone thinks we might just try it on for size then reject it when it fails, think again. If it succeeds there will be no ” new land” for the oppressed to flee to, nor Allied nations to defeat the new entity. One world government. Thats the endgame here.
The MSM knows it and they are on board fully. Has anyone ever seen a more important story burried collectively by the media? They are complicit.
This is not about a bit of wealth transfer it is about “progressives” taking control and never relinquishing that power.
The first 18 pages of this treaty, while an ominous read spell out the end of democracy, sovereignty and freedom as we know it. Read it and it will freeze your shit.
Even if every climate armagedon scenario in Al Gores and David Suzukies wetest dreams came true, we should not sign a document that promotes even a tenth of what this does.
And despite this we are being steered headlong into this disaster becuase the average joe does not know about what is going on, and the media wants to keep it that way.
Take the time and read the first 18 pages twice if you have to. Kicker is at the end of page 18. Formation of new “government” to oversee every single aspect of our lives.

Excellent summery, Ward. Lord Moncton has aired this filth planned by the freaks of the world – people haters like Unca Mo and Algore. Jack has had Lord Moncton on his sidebar for weeks – please watch it if you have any doubts about what Ward has said. The evil human haters have flaunted their own wealth in our faces while demanding our wealth and some people bowed (like the zero) and held out their limp wristed hands for the chains. Our host is not one of the latter; I have visited this site since Jack started it and he has always been against the fanatical AGW – but for pollution reduction. Our Prime Minister has the same views as Jack and the Prime Minister has articulated the same sensible views; followed with actions – cleaning up raw sewage dumps (St John, Dawson City) landfills, Indian reserve tainted water supplies…
Climategate is a huge, putrid explosion and, to use Kate @ sda’s apt headlines: all hell is about to break loose. Nobody (and esp. Liberanos / Dippers/Blocistas who are known to be very cheap) wants to pay for Carbon Credits (hot air) with their own money. Easterners were counting on all the money coming from the west when the crouton signed Koyotee; now the scam is out; the cheapskates will bail like rats from a sinking ship….and those of us who never ‘ believed’ will certainly not pay for anything based on junk science and fraudulent data NOW. When nobody is going to pay the bill, nobody is going to show up for the fest frenzy. Hopy changy temperature bedwetting is finished, kaput, dead. It is going to be entertaining watching the fallout though…I hope everybody has their beer and popcorn because it is going to be a ‘reallly big schow’ (Ed Sullivan).
Thanks Jack and posters for the up to date information . Good Job.
Ward says:
“This is not about a bit of wealth transfer it is about “progressives” taking control and never relinquishing that power.”
—————————-
The FIRST thing we have to do is STOP calling them “progressives”.
There is nothing progressive about them.
They are LEFTISTS.
If we don’t stop calling them “progressives” then we’ve already lost the battle against these evil creatures.
The word “progressive” has to be taken away from them, and the best way to start is by NOT using the word.
Check out this guys story.

RE: #47
Interesting comment. I happen to glance at the CPC web site last night and noted that “progressive social policy” is now entrenched in their constitution. To me that suggests that the CPC are now firmly a left of centre party and have become part of the problem rather than part of the solution. I’ll keep my fingers crossed, though, since wiser people than me believe Harper will steer us clear of this quagmire, but I’m not particularly optimistic. Harper is not the party, he is the leader of the party which means his guiding principles are found in the CPC constitution.
You know, Jack, I’d post some links here but your spam filter is preventing me from doing so. I’ll post somewhere else.
I just can’t shake off the gut feeling that the vast majority of Canadians are of the ho hum yawn persuasion feeling content that this’ll all work out for the good in the end without there being any need to get involved.
BTDT you are oh so right but there are also those that just don’t understand what is happening and then of course the recipients of Gore and Suzuki brainwashings who accepted their original junk science garbage and won’t even consider anything contrary to same.
The fact that our MSM is ignoring this story is a national disgrace and is a good part of the reason for this ignorance.
Our MSM are ignoring it Don because our MSM are a bunch of Lib-Lefties.
It gets worse.
“BBC SHUNNED ME FOR DENYING CLIMATE CHANGE”

w.r.t. the link in #53, the “denier” accusation only works if there is verifiable evidence of the fact being denied. Since there is no verifiable evidence for man-made global warming, any such accusation should be countered with a choice of either producing verifiable evidence or a defamation suit.
