It seems that HM PM Harper is getting some uppance as many people are commenting on his negatively.
There is a facebook group now with 25,000 members in just a few days. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/746068–grassroots-fury-greets-shuttered-parliament?bn=1

Well the facebook group that is no to our government and prorogue of parliament is fine..that is democracy in action.  I suspect though it is all generated by political people who are not conservative and any other organization that ever had a gripe with the present government.

I, then, have started a facebook group called:
YES I support Prorogue of Parliament and the Prime Minister of Canada.

    http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/topic.php?uid=240544201629&topic=12401

I am only interested in having membership that mean yes.  This is not a pro or con debate site.  I am inerested in hearing from those who support prorogue and their discussion of it.

I do not think the Prime Minister had any choice, he had to prorogue.  The opposition MP,s are out of control and have forgotten why they were elected and what their real job is.  Dissruption of Parliament and it’s already passed bills and legislation by the Senate is intolerable and had to be addressed.

  3. MaryT says:

A good start for those against would be to tell the truth.  We have been denied about 21 hours of grandstanding by the opposition during QP.
I wonder if the PM knew of the opposition leaders, and some critics, holiday plans, and sprung this when they, not he, was out of the country.   Why are not those leaders home working in their constituency.  Why are they spending their money in another country.  I thought they were concerned for the Canadian economy, and loss of tourist dollars.

Speaking on the bilingualism problem, I came across this very interesting article ‘Time for the Nation of Quebec to leave Canada’ or how being a French-speaker today is the key to success in Canada.’
    http://www.vigile.net/time-for-the-NATION-of-Quebec-to
Of late there have been so many indications that Canadians (especially Western Canadians) are tired of having Quebec dictate to the rest of Canada on so many fronts.

NB Tory Gal — Are you who I think you are? If so, man I am pleased to hear from you — just as Mary T. is. She and I have e-mailed you and left comments hoping to hear that you weren’t sick or worse. It’s amazing how close this cyber community gets. We really do care.

You know what I would really appreciate is your either deleting your old blog or putting a final post up saying what you are doing now. Or, is that the problem? Was someone bothering you?  Been there and done that.

I may just take you up on joining your Facebook group — as long as I know it is really you. ;)

in reply to undecided…our premier Shawn Graham is not going to take any nb’ers objection to the sale of NB Power to Hydro Quebec…  this is what consumes a new brunswicker today…bilingualism still reigns here and the thought of a Quebec company making inroads here is horrid…especially if Quebec succeeds in separating sometime in the future….

Mr. Graham sidesteps all questions about what is wrong with taking this issue to the people….and also why is he in such a hurry to sell NB Power..

Another Premier not being straight with us

anyhow…I am focussed on prorogue issue …which is a national one….

heyyy hoooo and away we go….

Do let me know if that is indeed the case?
