New errors in IPCC climate change report (5)

The United Nations panel on climate change is facing fresh criticism today as The Sunday Telegraph reveals new factual errors and poor sources of evidence in its influential report to government leaders.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) report is supposed to be the world’s most authoritative scientific account of the scale of global warming.

But this paper has discovered a series of new flaws in it including:

The publication of inaccurate data on the potential of wave power to produce electricity around the world, which was wrongly attributed to the website of a commercial wave-energy company.

Claims based on information in press releases and newsletters.

New examples of statements based on student dissertations, two of which were unpublished.

The ‘storm is this.’ World citizens refusal to pay for a NON PRODUCT, that being carbon trading credits!

Bring up the 40 year old studies showing how C02 has doubled forest regrowth rates. That should give the print media business pause for reflection as it harbinges the return of the forestry industry and they can improve their ‘rags’ by printing the truth of matters, while giving up promoting faux businesses and or scams.

Still waiting for someone to explain to me how buying credits reduces CO2 and why so many companies fell for it, to make a few people very wealthy.
I know of many acres of land, in every city and town where no CO2 is produced by the residents When will someone buy this, or form a company to sell those credits to gullible people.

Re: #4 — As the IPCC has become to be known as “liars”.

The entire report is false because nothing they say can be trusted (just like the UN).  I knew that long ago but I reinforce the lesson here.

There is nothing in the report other than “he said, she said” and was primarily pulled from “Al Gore Stuff”. I’m not going there. I do not trust this mess and I see the bottom line. It’s all about our wallets and serious scientists have been badly discredited. This lack of trust applies not only to global warming. It applies to everything they say and personally I look at all science reports with some degree of scepticism.

Create a problem.= Anthropomorphic global warming.
Demonstrate the problem.= Nations can’t agree on green house gas emission controls.
Propose a solution which would not have been acceptable had we not created the problem.= World government.

What a coincidence. A panel funded by the UN finds scientific facts, which (as any fool must see) nations are far too selfish to deal with. Therefore all nations must forfeit sovereignty to the UN or we shall all drown in the melting glaciers.
A wise man once advised me: Never assume conspiracy where mere incompetence will suffice for an explanation.
I think I shall make an exception in this case…..Again.
