Bilderberg. Whether you believe it’s part of a sinister conspiracy which will lead inexorably to one world government or whether you think it’s just an innocent high-level talking shop, there’s one thing that can’t be denied: it knows which way the wind is blowing. (Hat tips: Will/NoIdea/Ozboy)
At its June meeting in Sitges, Spain (unreported and held in camera, as is Bilderberg’s way), some of the world’s most powerful CEOs rubbed shoulders with notable academics and leading politicians. They included: the chairman of Fiat, the Irish Attorney General Paul Gallagher, the US special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke, Henry Kissinger, Bill Gates, Dick Perle, the Queen of the Netherlands, the editor of the Economist…. Definitely not Z-list, in other words.
Which is what makes one particular item on the group’s discussion agenda so tremendously significant. See if you can spot the one I mean:

Notes:
As I’ve mentioned before, Ontario only needs one of these machines placed strategically in front of the Ontario Legislature. Do you realize the wind blows so strong there that one machine could supply the entire city of Toronto with electrical power?
Except when the legislature is not in session!
The trick is to keep them all working 24/7/365 (in a leap year that would be 24/7/366).
Problem solved.
That is the one that I have been watching and hoping that I’m wrong about. Global cooling is not a neat thing. Global warming on the other hand is a time of prosperity.
My personal goal. I want to bury “McShifty” and his elite/socialist clown following in the next provincial election. Rob Ford is a big part of that and therefore the reason I support him.
It all starts in Toronto but it won’t end there.
Much more to come as Toronto FINALLY wakes up.
If Rob Ford does a good job he should or could change the mindset of enough Torontonians away from the knee jerk massive voting for Liberals or NDP, or at least make conservative / libertarian ideas and Federal candidates competitive.
The Liberals can’t afford to lose Toronto and any losses there would proportionally negatively affect their electoral fortunes as their odds for growth outside of Toronto and Montreal are limited: Since they already have all or most of the Toronto ridings they can only lose ridings and even a 100% vote for them doesn’t increase their count of ridings but in the polls it would give them a 5 % or more boost.
One can say the same for the Conservatives that a 100% vote in Alberta can boost their poll numbers but have little actual effect on the number of ridings they can win regionally.
Pick up on Smitherman. Definitely an ‘elite’ about to be fired by “McShifty” as Ontario taxpayers go ballistic.
Watch as eEnergy becomes eHealth to the 10th power.
McGuinty is like Obama, he’s been Premier for 7 years, yet he blames Harris for our energy un-sustainability problems and their costs. Instead of dealing with the problem rationally, he lurched into green power and green jobs all of which will only make Denmark and Korea rich and we’ll be in the dark. Meanwhile China is opening a new coal fired plant every month and has 24 nuclear plants under construction. We’re screwed, our eEnergy costs are going through the roof and that’s with the Liberals keeping the lid on billings until after the 2011 election; after which our hydro bills will explode.
Businesses that are heavy users of power are being hustled by Con Edison to open in Buffalo where power is much cheaper. The whole energy plan that Smitherman and McGuinty put together simply played to the Climategate religion and ignored the economics of keeping energy competitive with other North American suppliers.
eEnergy will take McGuinty down
Also as the Rob Ford one-man-TeaParty gathers steam it will next turn on the useless 22 Toronto MPPs in Queens Park , then the useless 22 Liberal MPs that Toronto sends to Ottawa. They all know it is coming and they are in panic mode.

AGREED!
What can I possibly say about “McShifty” that has not already been said in many other blogs?
Like Barney Frank in the US Ontario cannot afford “big dad” and there is going to come a reckoning as stupid ideas are fired and we get back on track. At some point simple common sense begins to intrude and Ontario taxpayers are NOT happy campers as their hydro rates go through the roof.
Pissed off voters can change that picture and should.
If that kills the “McShifty elites” so be it. He (and they) don’t own this province. The voters do and it’s far past time “we — the great unwashed” send this arrogant bastard a message he cannot mistake.
We can fire him (and we should) at the first opportunity.
The reason?
He’s far to expensive and Ontario cannot afford him.
Have I mentioned that “he and his” are protecting stinkbugs?

Who knew?
As I watch my lawn disappear I wonder why anyone would support our ‘elite’ and I also ask why Ontario has banned DDT.
Could it be that they are all stuck in the past?
Probably.
And here’s a final thought. Natives know about this stuff as they sell their cheap cigarettes. What if they started to sell DDT?
Can you imagine?
