Re: Governments vow to overhaul environmental monitoring of oil sands development - Up until the other day we were told we had a world class monitoring system for the oil sands, now we're told the government is gonna build one because what we had was essentially a shambles.
Either the government knew the existing monitoring system was a mess – which makes them liars,
–or they really had no clue that they didn't have an effective system in place – which makes them bumbling incompetents.
In either case my question is, why should we believe them now?
