Feldman: Obama and the Kingdom of the Concrete Skull (7)

My friend Jane Woodworth looked over her newspaper, put down her coffee mug, and said , ” Imagine being so down and out that you have to deter people from talking about the economy with the news that you are an accessory to murder.” Nothing better summed up a week where the economy continued its tumble, the presidential approval rate continued its downward slide, and the President invoked executive privilege with respect to the government gun running operation which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people including our own border agent, Brian Terry, and perhaps an ICE agent of ours as well.

There was only one thing left for the failing president to do. Make a claim of executive privilege, make it late in the game, after months of his Attorney General Eric Holder’s dissembling before Congress under oath, after repeated  retractions of  Holder statements which were proven false, a claim so  weak that all it did was distract attention from the financial news and suggest to even the dimmest wit that the president himself was an accessory to murder.  (Every respectable legal observer has announced the claim cannot be sustained. See, thisthis and this.)

I gave this entry deep thought before finally posting it because I know it is going to upset some visitors and that has never been my intent. However, this is what is happening today in the world of “fast and furious” and I take it where I find it.

Regarding the video — I ran it in my sidebar yesterday but it properly belongs with this post and so it “repeats”. I’ve also linked it on my “Video” page so that I can easily find it again.

Finally, I note that Obama has had a very bad month and it appears to be getting worse by the day but nothing is certain, including his defeat, until November. During the time remaining anything can happen and he may yet pull a rabbit out of his hat.

We’ll all see in due course.

The old saying applies this November to Americans versus the scourge that is Obama more so than ever before in that nation’s history. “Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me”

I watched in disbelief when Ontario voters returned Dalton McGuinty with the full support of the media party.
I fully expect American voters to return Obama with the support of the media party. One wonders who is giving the orders to the media party?

Not this time, Fay. Far to many Americans have lost their jobs, their homes, their entire way of life. In my mind (finding myself in similar circumstances) I would be anything but forgiving.

      There’s a reckoning coming.

“Has any major public figure (57 states, Austrian language, corpse-men, Maldives for Falklands, private sector “doing fine,” etc.) been a more underwhelming advertisement for the quality of a Harvard education or a Chicago Law School part-time billet?”

O.K. is any still wondering why this fraud had his entire academic records sealed from scrutiny? Bottom line is that nobody spends millions of dollars to conceal evidence of their qualification to belong to Mensa. So then why did he do it? His book ‘Dreams of blah blah blah’ is a bunch of baloney. I’d wager so is his entire life as portrayed todate.

Lots of C and D just barely passing marks maybe ? If not, why hide the records if they where all A+ ???

Would some of his written term papers be embarrassing, if made public, due to opinions that would be ” poisonous ” in an election campaign if the Republicans had access to them for attack adds ?

Another theory could be that today with modern software any plagiarism that would have passed at the time could easily be detected and exposed ? Just speculation by the way.

Do those sealed records also include any or all his writings or term papers or just his marks ? I assume that his writings as a ” professor ” would be in the public domain at least ?

The question remains – Who do you blame? There comes a time I believe, when you have to ‘kill’ the messenger, so to speak. Remember back in ’08 right around the election when the members of the press corps were having their pictures taken with ‘the ONE’? Recall also those same press people sporting Obama buttons?
These people cannot be wrong after all they went to Journalism School! They ARE the experts. The Republicans are a bunch of uneduacted goofs. Right? Right!

…Jz., I wonder what the polls are saying here in Canada…
