I was an early enthusiast for the Coalition. Like most Britons, I wanted the broadest possible pedestal for a government that was going to have to cut spending. But there was more to it than that. A league between Conservative localists and Orange Book Lib Dems, it seemed to me, could make for a great reforming Whig administration. Sizzling heat sparks province-wide rolling blackouts: Yup, according to a newscast from last night (CTV I believe) the continental US is experiencing the hottest year since they started keeping track of temperatures – more forecast to come.
All that NIMBY about powerlines sure disappears when you don’t have power for the a/c. Stay cool, I have air and fans. Hope you do too or at least access to an air conditioned mall or restaurant. lol Cheers.
