In April, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee unleashed on Attorney General Eric Holder for a litany of sins that had surfaced before one committee or another and made the Obama appointee a household name through cable news, talk radio, and the blogosphere.
“The pattern of pushing partisan ideology rather than neutrally enforcing the law began nearly as soon as the Administration took office and has continued unabated since,” the report from Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas) stated, launching into criticism of Holder’s handling of Operation Fast and Furious, legal action against Arizona’s SB 1070 immigration law, challenging states’ voter ID laws, blocking congressional inquiries, offering shady counsel on recess appointments, etc.
Last month, Holder became the first sitting Cabinet member to be held in contempt of Congress.

Michelle Malkin nailed Obama and his administration to the wall in her book a couple of years back. Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks, and Cronies.
Michelle Malkin? Hell of an unbiased source there
And your comment is not cy???????????????
Well I don’t make money to tell cop-haters what a bad guy beentheredonethat is, hiding behind the idea that I can’t possibly be a cop-hater because I work as a security guard.
So … no.
(reader exercise – count the I’s. You know you want to)
Since when does speaking truth means one is biased ??
Usually when people say “the truth” they mean “an assortment of factoids that support the opinion I already had”. Hard partisans like Malkin definitely deal in that kind of “truth”, and their audiences certainly won’t call them out on any inconsistencies / omissions / double standards.
For more discerning audiences, it is really hard to find a good author that will do a serious evaluation of a political topic. Before the question comes up … I’m not sure who I’d trust evaluate Obama’s actual performance, but their investigative techniques would have be as thorough as those of John Heilemann and Mark Halperin (Game Change)
Unfortunately the difference between a fact and a factoid is determined by the one losing the argument. What Malkin said was true and as a result she got dumped on from great heights in the LSM because you know the LSM is such a fount of wisdom and truth and ….. GAG
Norman Mailer didn’t lose to anyone. He did however foresee the problems with small and highly ideological publications (no internet at that time) coming up with these AMAZING little bits of information that allegedly no one else saw at the time (or conspired to cover up). By golly, how interesting it is that this information is always discovered by zines/blogs that don’t like that guy. Funny how that works.
More people trust the so-called LSM (renamed fro MSM, since your bishops at Fox are hardly small in size any more) than some angry 1-issue pundit in his basement. He only speaks to those who happen to have the same conclusions. It is mostly noise. I have no problem with it, as it is a pillar of democracy – but let’s not oversell it – Joe the angry conservative doesn’t have a fact checking department, and he isn’t always going to rely strictly on reputable sources as this site does.
Sorry to disappoint you Cy but I don’t watch Fox, CNN, or any of the other Alphabet network news. It didn’t take me too long to recognize the stench coming from them. I spent a lot of time on Grampa’s farm and I can pick out that old corral smell from miles away. The point of fact is that Malkin told the truth and no amount of wheedling on anyone’s part is going to diminish that truth. I don’t see any reason to try to avoid the facts of the situation. Obama grew up going to Mosque. He sees no harm in Islam. He is comfortable having advisers who likewise support Islam and in particular the Muslim Brotherhood. Your senseless support of Obama reminds me of a wife defending a drunk husband swearing he’s never had a drop to drink in his life. Pure bunkum.
Your hatred of the man reminds me of those “9-11 was an inside job” types who cannot be convinced no matter what. They read one pamphlet from an ideological soul mate and that became the law.
It’s not hard to take a couple kernels of truth (like his time spent in a Mosque) and spin it into grand conspiracy. This is what Malkin does well and she likes to do it in particular to the “civil rights” establishment because, unlike her redneck target audience, she won’t be called a racist. I hear it’s good money if you can get the job. But a journalist of record? Hardly.
Who am I supposed to hate Cy? I don’t hate Obama anymore than I hate my next door neighbour. What I don’t care for is the racism that Obama runs on. I don’t like the leftist drivel that he spouts like it is received wisdom and not to be questioned. I don’t like the idea that a man or woman can run for office and be elected with very poor documentation. I would like to know about his SS number, his college marks, what books or articles he wrote and please don’t insult my intelligence by telling me that he wrote ‘Dreams of My Father’.
By the way I don’t subscribe to conspiracy theories. My point of his being raised attending Mosque is not a conspiracy its a fact. My Muslim friend attends Mosque. He believes things I don’t believe. He thinks society more closely reflect the Muslim ideal. As a Christian I believe that society should more closely reflect the Christian ideal. Obama attended Mosque. I would be a complete fool to believe that he doesn’t have in part at least an Islamic world view. The Muslim Brotherhood has an Islamic world view as well. It is likely that Obama would agree more with them than with say Israel. That simply makes sense, Its not a conspiracy.
Why?
Why are the college marks of a foreign politician important to you Joe?
Why are the books and articles of a foreign politician important to you?
Indeed why are partisan Canadians so interested in a foreign election and its foreign politicians?
Don’t bother answering, it’s a rhetorical question, I know the answer – proxy partisan wars (hey, that’s a good title for a TV series), and if history is any indicator pretty soon we’ll see Canadian partisan blogs of both stripes
idioticallyproudly supporting foreign politicians, and foreign political parties, from a foreign country, in a foreign election, with banners, graphics, and videos.Let me know when you feel the urge to get directly involved Joe (and anyone else for that matter) so I can let MP Rob Anders (Calgary West) know he’s not alone.
SL have you been drinking again? Are you trying to say that a person can not be interested in the history of another? Are you saying that no leader of any nation should ever be vetted? Are you saying that as a Canadian I should never look at another country’s leaders even though that leadership has direct impact on my pocket book? You mean to say that I can’t discuss the leadership of Syria, Germany, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Britain, France, Greece, Israel, Iran, USA etc etc etc?
What kind of isolationist idiot are you?
The leader of the US has LIED over and over and over again regarding his past. At one point he says he was born in Kenya then he was born in the US. He posted a fake birth certificate on the web. It was so poorly done that even I could see two different fonts in the same word supposedly written by a typewriter. He has a Social Security number that was previously issued to a foreign born naturalized American born in 1890. Every expert at textual criticism that bothered to look at his book has ascertained that someone other than Obama wrote it. Had GWB so much as not signed his name to his second grade report card you would have been all over that like ugly on an ape.
In other words SL once you sober up please post something that makes sense.
There is interest, and then there is *INTEREST* Joe – and you, and many other partisans [edit
Conservatives, fall into the category of *INTEREST*, bordering on obsessive.Other than that I really must complement you on your strawman building…. if only I was a corn farmer, and there wasn’t a drought, so I could stand them up in my field so they could serve a useful purpose.
Note: Edit made to strike out the word “COnservative” as I realized I had unfairly singled out Conservative hyper-partisans in my responce and there are as many lefty (for lack of a vetter term) Canadians who are afflicted with the same political ailment.
Yes SL and when GWB was prez it was 24 hours 7 days a week anti Bush from the MSM. It was one of the factors that led to the likely fraudulent election of the least qualified candidate in US history. With what we already know Obambam should be in the crowbar hotel not the white house but that’s ok because leftists like you think it best to never check the eligibility of a leftist candidate.
BTW while I am sure some people obsess over Obambam I am not one of them. As I mentioned before I prefer to stay informed about the leadership of many countries. The US is one of them. Since this article is about the US it would be very silly of me to start discussing the sanity of Imadinnerjacket from Iran.
Maybe you could ask any Canadian media outlet why they are interested in the politics or politicians of other nations Stage. Or for that matter not particularly interested in researching the backgrounds of some but intensly interested in publishing innuendo on others.
There is no level playing field when it comes to politics in the MSM. That is the point that is being made.
