Cashill: Time to Ask Obama about His Social Security Number

I have been communicating with the intrepid Ohio private investigator, Susan Daniels, for some time.  A few weeks ago, I got to meet Daniels.  She is smart and sincere, and she understands her subject matter thoroughly.  The left-wing “rebuttals” of her data, to this point, have ranged from the inept to the absurd.

More to the point, Daniels has information that the Romney campaign needs to know and needs to talk about: President Barack Obama has apparently been using a fraudulent Social Security number for the last 25 years.

On July 2 of this year, Daniels filed suit in Geauga County (Ohio) Common Pleas Court demanding that Jon Husted, Ohio secretary of state, remove Obama’s name from the ballot until Obama can prove the validity of his Social Security number.

Compare that the media is ripping Paul Ryan a new one for making a mistake with his time when he ran a marathon years ago.

My point is simple. Were ANY of these supposed “tin foil theories” being laid at the feet of a Republican the media would be running short of ink and paper to write about them. Just like when they made a huge issue out of GWB’s college records, National Guard service (they can’t even see Obama’s college records because he spent millions to seal them from scrutiny). Why would he do that if he has nothing to hide? Simple question how about a simple answer. Remember when the media sent hordes of dirt diggers to Alaska to check out ever idiotic rumour no matter how ridiculous about Sarah Palin to the enth degree? Undeniable hypocracy and double standard to any who wish to see. Obviously many are willfully blind. That is my ONLY point. The media is never going to thoroughly and honestly vet a POTUS or an administration again until a Republican one is voted back into office. YOU know it and I know it. The difference is though that I’ll admit it.

And the wingnuts that you read are doing the same to Obama. The left never had a Sherrif Joe with a dedicated team to investigate Bush. Multiple levels of government never had to release Bush’s proof of American existence (which is just a wee bit more serious than grades in a class over 20 years ago)

      What is the difference?

What was there to investigate about Bush that was not revealed by vetting his past is my question back at you? Bush’s life prior to running for POTUS was basically an open book. Bush didn’t spend millions concealing his past. Obama did. People who can’t see a difference when it comes to Obama are willfully (and if they are American ) dangerously blind. By the way, what wingnuts to I read? If you read the article I did, then we both read the same thing. I don’t follow this guy whatsoever. If only you would vet Obama a fraction as much as you attempt and fail at vetting me.

These conspiracy theories are, as I know you know, a fixation Cy – a deep and abiding need in otherwise normal people that serves to address something internal to those who buy into them…. often, IMO, to explain something they fear and have no control over.

I have a friend who is convinced that global weather is being screwed with by at least three international super-powers via H.A.A.R.P. systems. You cannot convince him otherwise, every time there is some weird or extreme weather or geological event it’s because something either went wrong with a H.A.A.R.P. experiment or two H.A.A.R.P. systems conflicted with each other.

There’s no talking to him about it and he uses some of the same rationales I’ve seen here for supporting political conspiracy theories.

True, but it’s still a fun challenge to try and get them to admit the very base and uncomplicated reason that lurks behind their far spun tales of intrigue and subterfuge.

In this case, they’ll probably never give in, having banished the R word to being a “card” that someone plays rather than a real-life phenomenon. So instead we’ll just keep hearing how the Democrats, media, FBI, CIA, EU, future world government and campus liberals all conspired to elect and hold up a Muslim Kenyan-born candidate that hates America and white people, has few business connections and no international political standing – even with the same Muslims to whom he is apparently delivering America, all because …
can’t even think of something. I’m sure there’s a reason for all of this though, right?

Imagine the reaction anywhere anytime to an applicant for a CEO’s position if they presented their resume with the ‘education’ portion blacked out? The applicant would still be able to hear the laughing as he waited for the elevator. But for some reason an applicant for the most powerful CEO’s position in the world should be different?

I guess my question is, why is Obama being so stupid? After all claimed to be born in Kenya until it is inconvenient then he posts an obviously fake birth certificate despite the fact that he was born in Hawaii. He seals all his school records despite going to several top level schools and he has been using a social security number that belonged to a man born in the 1890s. How stupid can this man be? How stupid can the American people who vote for such a fraud?

Frankly, “The Other Pete” is right. Many of us have simply stopped replying — but not just here.

The blogosphere itself is no longer about debate. It is about putting anyone down that we disagree with through ridicule and minimizing. And I hate it. I remember when Neale News shut down in late 2005 and I discovered JNW. At that time there were hundreds of commenters and few ever trashed others they way some do here on a regular basis. I miss that time, not for the number of comments but for the attitude.

I also notice that few bloggers write anymore. They simply put a sentence of two up and call it a post. I like to write but if I write too much (like 400+ words) few take the time to read what I have written.

I do believe commenting — even on MSM articles — has jumped the shark. Now just about everyone could be considered a troll.

Re this post: I like Obama but all this could have been avoided if he had just opened up his background as Bush did, including Bush’s history with booze. I respected that. People make mistakes. They learn from them and move on. However, as a result of Obama’s hiding so much, it appears he actually has something to hide.

Yet, the media demand tax records and everything else from Romney and Ryan. It’s the media’s double standards that so many dislike.

Sandy, I defy you to find a pete post that isn’t either an insult to stage/uv/myself or a “hear hear”. Is that adding more value?

As for nasty debate, this place really isn’t that nasty on the grand scale. Have you seen discussions on YouTube, Fox News, CNN or even the Globe? Those mainstream channels still aren’t as harsh as the places where tech geeks dwell. Maybe it’s a generational thing.

The easiest way to restore civility would be to enforce uniformity. Get rid of Stage and I and this place becomes an echo chamber, but a harmonious one. I’ve presented this option to Jack on more than one occasion, but he seems to favour real debate instead of the same comment rephrased ad nauseum.

Regarding your comment about bloggers that write a couple lines, unfortunately we, the readers, support these bloggers (across the political spectrum an in non-political blogs) instead of supporting writers who provide quality content for free. People with your level of writing skill usually don’t blog for that long because they soon find payoff isn’t worth the work. Same applies to comments – my longer economic comments that require some thought went mostly unanswered far before these tiresome Obama flame-fests (save Anna and nomdeblog, who aren’t here any more).

Unfortunately, newspapers and magazines are also struggling to define themselves in the age and blogs are considered passé next to twitter and tumblr (both of which cater to very short messages). Ironically, it’s not really clear where a “writer” can flourish on a medium that is still mostly text.

        Indeed.

Exactly why I created this site. My view is that we cannot arrive at consensus until we understand each other’s opinions. And that can’t happen if I bar certain people from this site and so I won’t go there.

Concerning this link: I picked up for a reason which would only be of concern to lawyers and courts but “regardless” this is real serious trouble for Obama if it turns out to be true.

        Funny how things work out.

Obama reduced to a number and allegedly false at that. We’ll see how it all plays out but my view is that it will not affect the next US presidential election. The media doesn’t give a damn and by the time it works it’s way through the courts we’re looking at 2013 and “Oslama” will either be elected or not.

Frankly, I don’t care. US voters made their bed and now they can sleep in it. It’s their call and nothing Canada can do will change the picture. For now we just have to distance ourselves from south of the “49th” and wait it out. If it goes the wrong way we will govern ourselves accordingly.

        Goodnight.

With media demanding Romney and Ryan’s tax record, it provides them the perfect foil to trip them up. All they have to do is place the records in the hands of a trusted third party, and state that they will be released by that party the day after Obama’s school records, actual birth certificate and how he came to be using a SS# that belongs to a dead person from 1890′s, his draft status would also be nice.

Frankly, I come here every day to read what Cy posts. Haven’t bothered to post because of the “branding” that comes so easily from Cy’s “repetoire of the usual” on subjects we might disagree on. He has such a black and white POV of anyone who doesn’t sing along from his song sheet. He’s very subtle about it too sometimes, but then not so subtle at other times.

That being said: is it true that the Won has a defunct SS number from a dead guy? Nobody would be fakin’ that number, would they, just to raise some issues? That question is aimed at you, Cy. Care to answer with a simple, un-snide retort?

I miss ya bud! How’s the banking industry these days? I just bought a bunch of bank stock over the last market dip – pre-dividend hikes, too. Was it a good move on my part? Were you buying? Looking hard at apartment REITS these days, since Transglobe got bought out (we did very well on that one) and I’m wondering how the Tronna market is doing condo-wise. I had a look back in May when I was down there and things seemed to be pretty hot, despite what McGuinty is doing to your province. What’s driving it? The OTPP? CPPIB?

How many here regularly “brand” anyone who does not hold the above as gospel as delusional idiots, fools — or some combination of both.

If I may put forward an opinion… what you really meant to say is that you pulled on your muzzle because someone here put forward opinions or ideas that don’t validate your world view and you dismissed them:

There is also deliberately/misreading/misquoting/misrepresenting comments to derail them and disrupt any attempt at having a productive discussion.

In some cases this resembles bullying/trolling rather than wanting an honest debate, and being ” proud “, not of having good arguments, but in being proud in having suckered someone into getting mad and losing their cool(s).
